Singapore is moving quickly to integrate AI — in our schools, our workplaces, and even in the everyday tools we rely on. The push to adopt AI seems to be everywhere. But while we race ahead, should we also not pause to ask ourselves:

Where are we heading?  

What does this mean for us as people and as a society?  

How might we shape a future anchored in human and planetary wellbeing?

If you’re feeling curious, uneasy, or simply want to hear how others are making sense of this moment, come join us for an open, grounded conversation. We will explore this in two parts:

1. You should adopt AI
   From school to work and in our communities, hear from our panelists about their experiences with AI across different settings, its impact on our lives and the questions we urgently need to address.

   Share and engage with others through facilitated table discussions.

As part of the weAll SG Film Series 2026, we invite you to join us for The Economics of Happiness, produced by the international non profit Local Futures. The film reminds us that localisation is not only a pathway to living in harmony with the Earth — it is also a way to rebuild community, strengthen belonging, and rediscover the relationships that sustain us.

We will be screening an abridged version of the film, followed by a conversation with Cai Bingyu, President of Ground-Up Initiative (GUI). Together, we will explore what localisation can look like in our highly urbanised environment, and how GUI’s journey offers hope for revitalising our communities and responding to climate apathy with courage and care.

What is purpose? What are choices? 

How are the daily decisions we make interconnected to the future of our planet, communities, families, and self? Are our choices tied to a model of linear growth, and if so, at what cost?

Join us on 27 March for Purpose, a film directed by Martin Oetting that addresses these questions. The film follows two individuals who set out to reimagine political and economic systems: shifting the focus from endless expansion to shared flourishing. Their work invites us to consider a future in which the economy becomes a tool for collective wellbeing, rather than something we feel compelled to serve.

Our post-film dialogue continues this exploration, shifting our vantage point from what is often accepted as “common sense,” and inviting us to see ourselves not only as part of the problem, but also as part of the solution.
